My name is Nicholas Braley, and I am a video editor from Hokes Bluff, Alabama.  I have a passion for creating unique stories. I am proficient in being timely yet thorough. The best feeling is turning in that final edit and being proud of what you have done. I believe that as an editor, you can express yourself in a very special way with your vision.

I am a father of two children who mean the world to me. They have changed me for the better, motivating me to go to college for a bachelor's degree in Digital Cinematography at Full Sail University. Thanks to my family, I have found a spark in my life that I never knew was there. I want to take charge of my life and take the lead so that maybe my children will follow their dream.

 

Since childhood, movies have always given me an outlet to connect to my life and emotions. I have been laughed at by family and friends for seeing movies multiple times without losing interest. I love to study how films are directed and edited. The thought process behind why certain decisions in the editing room are made or seeing a director's cut of a film that stray far from the official cut is such an interesting concept to dig deep into.
